The reason for our continued existence on the earth can be found not, surely, in the amassing of material gain or in the accumulation of possessions, but how and in what wise, we function for others. And once we have all learned to give and receive, with grace, it may then be possible for us to share in that certain happiness of which Tolstoy wrote more than a century ago.

As we all know, that Ramadan is the month of fasting and worshipping for Muslims all over the world. It is a month of   intense spiritual renewal for those who observe it. At the end of Ramadan, Muslims throughout the world observe a joyous three-day celebration called Eid-ul-Fitr i.e. the festival of fast-breaking. Eid-ul-Fitr is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan.  Eid is a day where Muslims around the world try to show a common goal of unity. It is a day of recognizance of God.

 

Do not pause to wonder

Where you kneel down to pray

Can God really hear

The prayers that you say

Just close your eyes

And open your heart

And you will feel

Worries and caves depart

Prayers are the stairs

You must climb every day

If you want to reach God

There is no other way …!
